How to make and apply a cleanser for oily skin


Materials: 2 tbsp coarse oatmeal, 2 tbsp Bentonite clay, 1/4 tsp neem powder, 1/2 tsp citrus peel powder, 1/8 tsp tulsi (Holy Basil) powder, fresh yogurt or pure water as wetting agent.

Step 1. Mix all the ingredients together to form a thick smooth paste.

Step 2. Apply to skin on face and neck in circular massaging motions.

Step 3. Let sit for 3-4 minutes.

Step 4. Rinse off with plenty of warm water.

Step 5. Gently pat skin dry and follow with a toner for oily skin.

Note: The dry mix for up to a week can be made in bulk and stored in a clean airtight container. Just add the yogurt or water each time you are ready to cleanse.
